Balaton Sound welcomes festival-goers with two main stages and half a dozen music venues for four days from Wednesday in Zamárdi.
Marshmello, Paul Kalkbrenner, Timmy Trumpet, James Hype, Purple Disco Machine, Amelie Lens, Adam Beyer, Marceo Plex, Stephan Bodzin or Nico Moreno from the underground scene will perform on the four days of the festival.
During the tour of the festival before the opening on Wednesday, the organizers presented the Heineken Balaton Sound main stage, which is decorated by a 400-square-meter LED wall and illuminated by about four hundred moving head lights.
In contrast to the previous ones, this year the main stage does not face the north coast, but was set up perpendicular to the coast, and next to it, a VIP area for about three thousand people, evoking a jungle and urban milieu, as well as skyboxes were created.
The other main stage, the B Stage presented by B my Lake, was set up on the other side of the festival area, also perpendicular to the shore, with an oasis-themed VIP area for 1,000-1,500 people, where underground electronic music acts will await the audience.
At the My Stage location on the beach, teams of Hungarian party brands put together the programs that start during the day, and international performers also arrive late in the evening.
On the nearly one-kilometer long stretch of Lake Balaton, the party starts already in the early afternoon at several locations, and a party boat departs every afternoon.
This year, more attention is paid to fashion than before, stylist Márk Lakatos said during the press tour: in the festival area named Fashion Hub, festival-goers can meet brands they have met at the daily fashion shows.
The safety first program also continues; According to crime prevention expert István Jenő Molnár, their volunteers will be walking around the Balaton Sound area in lemon-yellow, well-recognizable clothes. There will be safety first points in several places, and festival-goers can use the panic button in the festival application to signal if they need help.
Tamás Kádár, the company manager of Sziget Zrt., also spoke about the fact that, just as on the Sziget, so on the Balaton Sound, they keep in mind that the guests can eat at a reasonable price, which is why the places that sell food will also have „wallet-friendly” dishes.
