The Jahn Ferenc Dél-pesti Hospital in Budapest gratefully received a donation from the DK parliamentary group to support the care of newborns in the hospital, the institution announced in a statement on Thursday to MTI.
The statement noted that the donation was received in accordance with the relevant procedures and based on prior consultations.
The hospital emphasized that all necessary equipment is provided for the newborns left in their care, just as it is for all their patients. Additionally, their staff surrounds the newborns with extraordinary care and affection, offering them dedicated attention and love.
„At the same time, we are heartened by the goodwill and generosity observed, especially as the holiday season approaches, which helps those in need and the less fortunate,”
they said.
They highlighted that the Hungarian government is committed to supporting all patients and improving healthcare services regardless of age. For example, a new CT scanner will soon be operational at the Jahn Ferenc Dél-pesti Hospital. Additionally, the hospital has received funds for equipment procurement from the vis maior budget. This year also brought significant advancements in care organization with the introduction of digital appointment scheduling and a digital nursing support system in patient care units.
These developments contribute to ensuring safe and continuous patient care, reducing waiting lists, and raising the standard of healthcare services in state medical institutions, according to the hospital’s statement.
