This year, the Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix will be held from Friday, July 19, 2024, to Sunday, July 21, 2024. It is recommended to travel to the venue with the Pest County24 day ticket, which is also made available by BKK on a seasonal basis to assist fans and visitors. Additionally, the validity of the Budapest Cards is being extended.
The Pest County24 day ticket is available at BKK’s personal sales points and designated BKK ticket and pass vending machines until July 21. The Pest County24 day ticket can be used for travel on the entire HÉV line, as well as on VOLÁNBUSZ services and railway services, including within Budapest. However, the Pest County24 day ticket (and the Hungary24 day ticket) is not valid on BKK services, even during the Formula 1 event!
To reach the Hungaroring, VOLÁNBUSZ Zrt. will operate free special buses from Kerepes HÉV station. From the Hungaroring back, the free special buses will run to Gödöllő railway station.
