444.hu – Former Diósgyőr owner Tamás Leisztinger’s company, Arago Sport, has become the new owner of Kispest’s Honvéd FC. The previous owner, Reditus Equity, is parting ways with the club after five years.
Leisztinger:
“Let’s just say that for someone who operates businesses in Hungary, it’s not bad to take part in matters that are important to him anyway. Especially if, for instance, the country’s prime minister also values the same cause.”
Honvéd’s statement:
Today, after several months of negotiations, a contract was signed, making ARAGO-SPORT Ltd. the new owner of Budapest Honvéd FC!
Reditus Equity Ltd. purchased the club in 2019 and has provided a stable economic background necessary for its operation over the past five years. The purpose of this transaction is to ensure the long-term future and success of Budapest Honvéd FC and for the club to continue to play the role it has contributed to the development and success of Hungarian football over the past decades!
Reditus Equity Ltd. wishes the new owner and Budapest Honvéd FC great success!
