From July 13, track maintenance will be carried out for three weeks on tram lines 4 and 6 in the areas of Blaha Lujza Square, Podmaniczky Street, and Margaret Bridge. In the first phase of the work, from Saturday, July 13, to the early hours of Saturday, July 20, replacement buses will run between Oktogon and Harminckettesek Square. BKK recommends that travelers between Nyugati Railway Station and Corvin-negyed use Metro Line M3, those traveling from the area around Széll Kálmán Square and on the H5 suburban railway use Metro Line M2 to reach the city center, and from Óbuda, use tram lines 19 and 41 with a transfer to Metro Line M2.
From Saturday, July 13, 2024, to the early hours of Saturday, July 20, 2024, the trams on the Grand Boulevard will operate as follows:
- Trams 4 and 6 will run between Újbuda Center, or Móricz Zsigmond Square, and Harminckettesek Square; and trams marked 4-6 will run between Széll Kálmán Square and Oktogon.
- Replacement buses marked 4-6 will operate between Nyugati Railway Station and Harminckettesek Square; at Harminckettesek Square, the replacement bus can be boarded at the designated stop between József Street and Kis Salétrom Street.
- Passengers can board buses 91, 191, and 291 at the Nyugati Railway Station M terminal behind the 4-6 replacement bus stop, at a stop farther from the boulevard.

On July 20 and 21, Saturday and Sunday, trams will only run between their southern Buda terminals and Harminckettesek Square, with replacement buses running between Széll Kálmán Square and Harminckettesek Square.
From Monday, July 22, to Sunday, August 4, further track maintenance work will be carried out on tram lines 4 and 6, and BKK will provide information on the traffic arrangements for this period later.
From the night of Friday, July 12, to Saturday, July 13, until the night of Sunday, August 4, to Monday, August 5, replacement buses marked 6 will run along the entire route of tram line 6 every night. Bus 931 will stop on the road instead of the tram platform at the Buda end of Margaret Bridge when traveling towards Pest.
