The special congress of Jehovah’s Witnesses began today, and nearly 30,000 participants from 20 countries are expected and is open to all interested parties.
László Kőrösi, the coordinator of the hospitality committee, spoke about the committee’s goal to make the nearly 3,000 guests feel in a friendly atmosphere from the very first moment. To this end, more than 8,000 trained volunteers are ready to help international delegates at the airport, in hotels and during organized programs.
Among the positive effects of the event, it was mentioned that the approximately 50,000 guest nights will mean significant traffic for both hotels and restaurants.
One of the high-class hotels in Northern Buda noted the following about the congress: „It is a great pleasure and honor for us that, after several large-scale events and conferences, we can offer accommodation to the participants coming to the 2024 special congress of Jehovah’s Witnesses at the beginning of July, about 200 rooms per night. We hope that that guests from different countries will feel as comfortable in the hotel as in Budapest and at the congress.
